Make sure you moisturize your hair as usual and apply ouchless elastic bands to achieve the length you desire without adding unnecessary stress to your strands. Coconut oil is the King of Oils in my opinion! It's the perfect balance of protein and moisture in one weekly serving. On the day before every wash day, I treat my hair to something tropical and nice. Some may call this a pre-poo, but I prefer deep conditioning treatment. Ever since I started including this in my regimen, my hair has been soft, supple, and way more manageable than I ever thought possible. Another thing that I love about this treatment is that it provides my shed hairs with the perfect exit strategy. They just SLIP right out, literally, without snagging onto other hairs and forming those dreaded single strand knots!
